great message, as a gifted talker, one I needed
working great on Firefox
Hey,
Where do we get the list of 25 questions?
Thanks,
Stacie
A great message…. I was vaccinated with a phonograph needle, so the tendency to over talk (over sell) was very high, until a sales manager told me that I have 2 ears and 1 mouth… & that I should use them in that proportion… that made it clear. The unexpected asset was; people would tell me (only when I wasn’t talking) what I (or my product) needed to say (or have) in order to get them to place an order. WOW!
Meeting business goals?…Nope, I’m EXCEEDING THEM. Thanks guys!
I also like your old into much better. this new one took you down a “notch”. Also the flashing banner adds get to you after a few seconds. Takes away from the quality of your program. It kinda cheepens it. Other than that love your program.
Hi Guys! Whose birthday and when? I only ask because mine was Monday, January 9. Is it possible that I’ve located yet another birthday twin?!
Great info, reminds me of something heard long ago. Having 2 ears and 1 mouth, perhaps we should listen twice as much as talk.
cannot view
will not open, cannot view
i think the old intro worked a lot better. just sayin. . .
I have not been able to view for several weeks. I’m on Firefox and when I click on the title of the video it just comes back with the title and a blinking video camera. Frustrating.
Did you try refreshing the page at that time? Maybe it just didn’t load right. Try and let me know.
Thanks.
I currently run Internet Explorer. I’m on a network and this is all our company will allow us to use. I began having issues at the end of “Hawaii Week” and have only seen a flashing image of a video camera. I hope this information helps.
Regarding difficulty viewing, my problem is when I click on the link in the email, the page doesn’t load. My default browser is Chrome; if that helps…
Great advice on today’s show!
Great reminder guys.
I have no problems viewing
Top 10 Tips for Working with Realtors
Stand out from the crowd when you forge new relationships

Savvy mortgage originators know that the key to a steady loan pipeline is forging relationships with top-performing real estate agents. If you are struggling to build and maintain relationships with Realtors, consider the following 10 tips.
Get creative when contacting a real estate agent with whom you want to do business. When you call them, be sure you have something of value to offer. Just mentioning your name and the company you work for isn’t enough. For instance, you may offer to co-host a first-time homebuyers’ seminar.
Seek new offices or new agents and send a handwritten congratulatory note. This will make the agents more receptive to a follow-up meeting request. If your first attempt doesn’t work, try something different, such as offering to help advertise by developing a co-branded listing in a well-known magazine.
Ask real estate agents with whom you are friendly if they know of anyone you should be calling. Mentioning a colleague or a friend who referred you to potential Realtor partners may encourage them to consider working with you.
Don’t underestimate the power of your marketing dollars. Offer to split ad costs with agents and co-brand marketing collateral. Many agents are strapped for ad dollars, and by providing materials they need to do their job better, such as sign riders, you can increase your value to them.
Show that your service goes the extra mile. When you get the opportunity to help Realtors’ clients secure a mortgage, you must come through and take care of their customers. Before you get that chance, you must take care of the agents — they are the gateway to closing deals.
Use the multiple-listing service to find agents with deals processing. You can save this information and prepare open-house fliers with a few different rate and loan scenarios customized especially for them, or you can send collateral like “Just Sold” or “Just Listed” mailers. Bring these marketing tools to events to show other agents how you can help them.
Optimize your chances of gaining Realtors’ attention at trade shows by giving out treats like popcorn or candy. Once they have stopped to pick up a snack, offer a coupon for your services such as a free one-hour consultation. Have them sign up for free marketing literature as well, which you can drop off at their office in person at a later date.
Use social media to find real estate agents in your market. Facebook offers reasonable advertising that can be directed toward a highly targeted market. You can spend less than $100 per month on advertising and garner hundreds of thousands of ad impressions to real estate agents in your area.
When you work with agents to close a deal, send a handwritten thank-you note for their business. Technology consumes so much of our communication these days; a handwritten note will always seem more sincere than an e-mail.
Contact your local newspaper and offer a regular mortgage-advice column. It will help get your name and your company’s name in front of the community as an expert source. In addition, real estate agents advertise in these same local outlets and are bound to notice you.
By following these tips to build and maintain relationships with Realtors, mortgage originators and brokers likely will see their referral business soar. Remember to take care of your partners — and they’ll be more likely to take care of you.

Please tell us what you see if you can’t view. And tell us what browser and version you are using.
Try Fire Fox – that’s what we recommend. If it still isn’t working please give us whatever other information you can about your system so we can look into it.
Thanks.
Can’t View? Please give us all the details so we can fix it. We can view on any computer and mobile device from here. What browser are you using and what version? When you guys say you can’t view, what do you see? The more information you give us the better.
We are running the most recent version of Fire Fox. We recommend using Fire Fox and you can download it from the upper right corner of our page.
Sorry for the issue, but we need more info to trace it down.
Thanks everyone!
By asking the deeper question you will learn more about the client which in term will strengthen rapport. The old axiom “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care applies”
So taking Frank’s example a little deeper regarding why hard surface floors are important you might find that the client’s children or the buyer themselves have severe allergies. That in turn can lead to a commonality and perhaps an opportunity to help with a medical referral etc.
The point is to take the time and ask questions that matter. It will show you care and separate you from others.
I have not been able to view either.
When you say you can’t view… what do you see? I’m able to view on all systems, even mobile… what browser are you using? Give us all the details so we can fix it.
Thanks.
Cannot view videos… no changes to my system. What is happening?
I haven’t been able to view videos for the past several days
I couldn’t even get into the site the first week in January. All of a sudden it started working again. I haven’t changed a thing. No clue as to what was happening.
God gave you 2 ears & 1 mouth, so listen twice as much as you speak!
Happy B’day…..Don’t enjoy it TOO much!
Done. posted to Facebook.
